That vision is why we expanded our film company into a dedicated wedding studio.
As professional filmmakers, we know how to tell a story. We know that a flashy highlight reel might be fun to watch once — but crafting a story, a documentary of your life to be savored for generations — well, that’s just timeless.
Our wedding films go beyond documenting your day; we focus on your story as a couple - how you met, the proposal, the vows, and the quiet details in between - to create a film that’s truly yours. Sealed and packaged in a custom designed disk, you will walk away with something that you can treasure forever.
Our style is intimate, story-driven, and visually welcoming. We utilize both digital and analog formats (super 8mm and 16mm film) to capture the emotions of your story in the purest form. After your big day, we edit your story into multiple deliverables so that you can not only enjoy your own personal documentary, but also have plenty to share with friends in family.
One day, decades from now, we hope you’ll sit down with your grandchildren, press play, and feel every laugh, tear and embrace all over again.

Hi! We’re Beckie & Trevor, and together we run Kojo Films. We have been shooting wedding films for 9 years, where we’ve had the privilege to tell the love stories of hundreds of couples. As partners in both life and work, we know firsthand how every love story carries its own rhythm, beauty, and meaning—and we aim to reflect that truth in every film we create.
Kojo began as a production studio where we could combine our individual strengths into one shared vision. We poured our creativity into commercials, music videos, and short films, honing our craft and pushing ourselves to create work that is meaningful and authentic. As our journey unfolded, we expanded into weddings—a natural extension of our passion for storytelling. Bringing the artistry of film into the intimacy of weddings allows us to create films that don’t just document a day, but preserve the essence of your story.
For us, it’s never about simply capturing an event. Your love story deserves to be told with care, intention, and heart—and that’s exactly what we plan to do. We want you to have something timeless, a piece of art you can return to as your journey unfolds, reminding you of where it all began.

Beckie has been filming weddings since she was just 15, and from the very beginning she dreamed of building a wedding studio of her own. What started as a love for capturing meaningful moments has grown into a career dedicated to preserving memories that truly matter.
As our Lead Editor, Beckie oversees the entire post-production process for every wedding film we create.

Trevor has worked as a cinematographer for several years, where he has shot commercials, documentaries, narrative projects, and hundreds of weddings. His wide range of experience has shaped the way he approaches wedding filmmaking — blending technical expertise with an eye for authentic storytelling.
As lead cinematographer, Trevor oversees all visuals and directs the flow of filming on your wedding day.
